Christian Varbanovski is a Bulgarian-born, New York-based 22-year-old filmmaker currently honing his craft in Film and TV at The Kanbar Institute of Film and TV at Tisch School of The Arts in New York University.

Starting his career as a 5-year-old in Bulgaria's most well-known vocal group "Bon-Bon," Chris is a lifelong performer and multi-faceted artist with deep roots in theater, music, and voice acting in his native Bulgarian artist with experience in musical theater and social media content creation experience.

His first short film, "Straight to The Bottom," received critical acclaim, including being programmed at an Academy Award®-qualifying festival. Currently in post production of his second and third films, and in pre-production for his NYU Thesis film “The Showstopper,” funded by The National Culture Fund of Bulgaria.
